Haftom Kesete Kahsay graduated with distinction from the Faculty of Law at Haramaya University and earned his Batchelor's (LLB) Degree in July 2009. He gained his Master's (LLM) Degree in Business Law Stream with great distinction from the School of Law at Addis Ababa University in 2021. Haftom has worked for several govemment agencies, including the Ethiopian Revenue and Customs Authority and the Ministry of Justice as a prosecutor, drafter, and trainer from November 2009 up to November 2014. Starting December 2014, Haftom is a licensed Advocate at all Ethiopian Federal Courts and a member of the Ethiopian Federal Advocates' Association.
